If You’re Going to Buy One Thing This Fall, Make It Tory Burch’s Lee Radziwill Bag — Here’s Why

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. Every season, a new handbag is deemed the be-all and end-all in the world of fashion, whether it starts gaining popularity though word of mouth (It-girls do love sharing their latest purse acquisitions during weekend brunches), on TikTok, or after an iconic designer spotlights it on their runway. The latter is true for Tory Burch’s Lee Radziwill Double Bag, which stole the show at the label’s spring 2026 showcase on September 15 and since then, has been selling at a rapid clip on toryburch.com. Before we make the case for why you need this designer handbag in 2025, it’s important to journey back in time to 2018, which is when the status-symbol accessory debuted. Named after fashion icon, socialite, and Jacqueline Kennedy’s younger sister Lee Radziwill, the silhouette comes in a few different iterations (including the Shoulder Bag style, either pebbled, croc-embossed, or suede for the larger size; the Double Bag; and the Mini Top-Handle Bag). But it is the Double Bag that’s been experiencing the biggest revival in the past month. Tory Burch’s spring 2026 runway featured the boxy, structured bag with

After the final match of the day concluded on the Bethpage Black golf course, the action headed over to the Frick Collection in Manhattan, where the luxury brand hosted an elegant gala dinner in honor of the tournament. While the team players stayed behind in Long Island, the tables and decor were rooted in a dusty green palette, a subtle nod to the weekend’s visual focus. Jeremy Strong Lexie Moreland/WWD Guests dressed in a mix of Loro Piana ready-to-wear and accessories sipped from coupes of Champagne inside the Frick lobby before museum staff walked groups through the first floors rooms. John McDonald Opens New Restaurant Seahorse Inside the W New York

The recipe for a New York restaurant that diners will return to? “Super simple, high impact flavors, food that people want to come back for, a few moves that are unique,” says restaurateur John McDonald a few days before opening Seahorse inside the recently renovated W Hotel in Union Square.  And beyond the food, a little bit of je ne sais quoi. “It’s very challenging to get people to come back to a restaurant that they even like. And a lot of that has to do with how they feel,” he adds. “How do you feel in the room? How do you feel after you leave the restaurant? It’s not just delicious food. It’s this amalgamation of the atmospheric influences, the energy and the environment.”  McDonald’s Mercer Street Hospitality, which includes Lure Fishbar, already has a reputation for opening the sort of restaurants that become beloved repeat stops on the New York dining scene. After much anticipation and several delays, McDonald finally opened the doors to Seahorse this month. “It definitely took longer than expected, but it’s nice to get it right,” says McDonald, describing the delays as a “luxury” that enabled the team to fine-tune the concept and open during the prime fall

Opening September 25th, Bub’s Bakery is a new concept that offers pastries, sweets and savory items free of all major allergens.   “We saw a clear gap in the market to create something that didn’t exist: a bakery that creates a seat at the table for those with dietary restrictions while offering pastries everyone wants to enjoy,” Saesue says.  The New Jersey born, Bangkok-raised restaurateur is the cofounder of 55 Hospitality, which operates Thai restaurants Fish Cheeks and Bangkok Supper Club. WireImage Forgoing statement accessories, Jolie opted for only a few delicate jewelry pieces, including a ring and a pair of earrings. Her brunette hair with blond highlights was styled with the viral side-part, among the hair trends to come out of September’s New York Fashion Week, and the Tom Ford Beauty ambassador‘s makeup included bold brows, lined eyes and a soft pink lip. Jolie’s forthcoming film, directed by Alice Winocour, brings the world of “Couture” even closer to audiences. Chanel granted Winocour full access to the French luxury fashion house’s workshops, marking the first time a fictional feature film received such close proximity.

Grace Coddington Brings Her Love for Cats to Louis Vuitton’s Latest Travel Collection

As much as a fashion figure, Grace Coddington is also known as a cat lover. Her affection for her pets has become part of her signature and while codesigning Louis Vuitton‘s newest travel collection, the Welsh-born creative director was naturally inspired by her loyal felines: Blondie, Blanket and Jimi. “I wish I could take them everywhere with me, but they hate traveling,” Coddington told WWD. “As soon as they see their box, because they’re going to the vet or something, they all kind of freak out and hide. And then if you do get them in a car, they scream all the time.” Monogram Cat Silk Robe Courtesy of Louis Vuitton Through the Louis Vuitton Travels With Grace Coddington collection, which officially debuted Friday, the former editor made her wish of exploring the world with her pets possible, at least symbolically. Patches featuring her cats on adventures through Sydney, London, the Amazon, the Great Wall of China and even in space are showcased on an exclusive line of luggage, starring Coddington’s version of the classic Stokowski trunk. The motifs are also seen on a travel wardrobe, which includes silk pajamas, T-shirts, hoodies, comfort blankets, sandals, tennis shoes and a diverse range of accessories. If you’ve spent even five minutes on Instagram lately, you’ve likely seen pendant necklaces popping up on the grids of every style-savvy person you follow. The accessory style made its triumphant return on spring 2025 runways, setting the tone for the past season’s jewelry preferences. Coach and Perfect Magazine Keep the Party Going With Elle Fanning, Sam Smith and More

During fashion week, not everyone can make it to the show. But the after party? Consider them there. On Monday night, Coach and Perfect magazine hosted a joint party at Cafe Zaffri inside hotel and private members club The Twenty Two. Stuart Vevers, who debuted his latest runway collection for the brand earlier in the day, was sequestered in the back in a booth with Perfect founder Katie Grand, along with Elle Fanning and Charles Melton — both Coach ambassadors who had sat front row at the show hours earlier — as DJ Honey Bee kicked off the evening’s vibe. Other front row faces stopping by to congratulate Vevers on his show included singer Soyeon, Storm Reid, GloRilla and Jayson Tatum. Baskets of Coach x Perfect cobranded disposable cameras were set out around the room, and guests were seen taking selfies throughout the night. Shortly after 10 p.m., Adam Lambert strolled across the room, followed closely behind by Sam Smith with boyfriend Christian Cowan, fresh from his own runway show this past weekend, and a small entourage. Kaytranada, perennially fashion’s favorite DJ for an after party, stepped up to the decks later in the night. The fashion week finish line was in sight,

Your Ultimate Jewish High Holidays Shopping List: From Designer Mezuzahs to Luxury Honey Pots

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. It’s almost time for the Jewish High Holidays, marking a 10-day period of introspection culminating in the joy-infused breaking of the fast after Yom Kippur. Whether you’re a practicing Jew, a secular one who observes religious rituals only on special occasions, or are planning on hosting your Jewish friends for the holiday season this year, one thing can be agreed upon: thoughtful tablescaping and home decor becomes of utmost importance as Rosh Hashanah commences, since so many Jewish traditions happen around the dinner table. While the online marketplace is already replete with Christmas-ready centerpieces, dinnerware, mantel adornments, and wreaths fit for the December celebrations, it can be a bit tougher to find the Jewish equivalents of all these themed goods in September — especially if you’re looking for something less “‘Shana Tova’ paper banner on Amazon” and more “crystal mezuzah from a beloved designer to impress your dodah.” Fortunately, our shopping editors have taken the time to scour the e-shelves for you, honing in on six key pieces to shop today for the Jewish High Holidays, fom dishes fit for your

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. New York Fashion Week has officially ended, and whether that means you’re giving yourself some well-deserved R&R after sitting front-row at shows or spending hours skimming the breakdowns of every look that graced the runways on social media, we can all agree that the street-style equations of NYC’s fashion set this past week have given us priceless inspiration for autumnal dressing. It’s one thing for a major designer to proclaim a material, color, or silhouette as the be-all and end-all trend of the season; it’s a very different story, however, when fashion insiders actually breathe life into these trend predictions and surprise us with creative-as-can-be outfit mashups on city streets, during one of the most important events on New York’s cultural calendar. This year, we spotted fashionistas outside shows from PatBo to Calvin Klein donning meticulously curated pieces that repped the brands they were visiting while adding personalized touches in the form of jewelry, footwear, or accessories like scarves. While the overarching ethos seemed to be “anything goes” this year, unifying themes did pop up and are here to guide you as

Chanel and Tribeca Luncheon Celebrates 10 Years of Through Her Lens Filmmaking Program

“ Chanel girls always look the coolest,” declared Sarah Paulson. The actress was on the carpet outside of Locanda Verde in New York on Tuesday afternoon, two days after presenting at the Emmy Awards, and by her calculation, she was surrounded by “the coolest.” Chanel and Tribeca were kicking off the 10th year of the Through Her Lens program for emerging female filmmakers with their annual luncheon, and the crowd was, well, wearing Chanel. Paulson is serving as a mentor for this year’s program, a three-day workshop that provides support and development opportunities — and networking — for five female-led projects. “ One of the great things that success provides is an opportunity to give back,” Paulson said. “I don’t know that I have anything particularly valuable to say, but I certainly have ears to listen,” she added. “The more everyone gathers together and talks to one another about their experiences, the more you can normalize some of the stranger things that happen in this industry — and just, you know, walking around the planet as a woman.” The actress is starring in the female-centric series “All’s Fair” later this fall, a Ryan Murphy production about “ a bunch of female attorneys who make it their

Celebrities at Prabal Gurung Spring 2026: Shailene Woodley, Kandi Burruss and More

On Saturday afternoon, Prabal Gurung took fashion week to church. The designer held his spring 2026 runway show inside St. Bartholomew’s Church on Park Avenue in midtown. Pews were cleared away in favor of two long rows of chairs, which framed the central runway for guests including Shailene Woodley, Rachel Zoe, June Ambrose, football player Sam Hartman, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, designer Maxwell Osborne, Sarita Choudhury, Jordan Chiles and more.  ”We go way, way back,” said MJ Rodriguez of the designer. She was, of course, dressed in a Prabal Gurung design, one of many she’s worn in recent years. “Him, along with Christian Siriano, were the first people to really be involved in styling me for red carpets,” she added. “His clothes are extremely inclusive.” Pritika Swarup, Rupi Kaur, Riley Burruss, Kandi Burruss, Sarah Shahi, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Coco Rocha and Emma Brooks McAllister at the Prabal Gurung spring 2026 ready-to-wear show. Lexie Moreland/WWD “ Fashion Week has been busy. It’s a lot going on,” said Kandi Burruss, seated next to daughter Riley Burruss a few chairs down. “I’m not from here — I’m from Atlanta, so I’m not used to jumping from show to show to show. It’s been pretty cool.” “ I love that it brings my

Latin Pop Star Kenia Os Makes NYFW Debut: ‘I’m Representing My People and Culture’

It’s a dream come true for Kenia Os. Last year, the pop star was in constant motion, performing night after night on her “Pink Aura” tour through Latin America. The whirlwind schedule left little time for much else, but with the tour wrapped, Os is carving out space to focus on another passion: fashion.  According to the Mexican singer, fashion is a world she’s long admired from the sidelines, so when the chance came to join the fashion week circuit (one of the industry’s more exclusive events), she seized it. That dream kicked off earlier this year when she attended Paris Fashion Week, making appearances at Willy Chavarria and Y-3 with Adidas — an experience she described as “amazing” and “unforgettable.” Still, she says, New York Fashion Week has always been the ultimate fashion stage to experience. Kenia Os and Peso Pluma attend Off-White’s spring 2026 show. Alfredo Persan  “[PFW] is amazing, but I only went…for one brand. This week is different — it’s all-day glam, all-day fashion and a completely new experience for me,” the “Kitty” singer says. “For [NYFW], I think it’s really important to do something different. Experiment, change, make a statement….I think that’s part of what makes fashion amazing, so that’s what [I

They’re Back: Public School Returns to Fashion Week With a Club Supper Experience

There was magic in the air on Friday night. It was early in the evening in the Financial District, and guests were lined up inside the building lobby of two Michelin-star restaurant Saga. Glasses of Ace of Spade Champagne were being passed out, and groups were being directed to floors based on the bracelets they were handed upon arrival — moon, sun, star and diamond. “There’s a magician on the line,” said a production staffer, fielding questions about what, exactly, was underway. “That’s all I know.” Fashion insiders had more intel: the orchestrator of the experiential evening was Public School, and the brand was marking its return. Designers Maxwell Osbourne and Dao-Yi Chow have been flirting with a brand relaunch, and what better time than fashion week? “ Public school is certainly back,” said Chow, on the balcony at Saga at the start of the evening.  ”It’s been bubbling for a while. We always knew we would come back at some point, so it wasn’t if, but a when,” he added. “We really feel this burgeoning renaissance that’s happening here in New York City. We’ve always been inextricably tied to New York City. I think for a while people were really down on New York,
