Summer 2025 Nail Trends: Shapes, Colors and Abstract Designs Heating Up the Season

Summer has officially begun, meaning the curtains have closed on “cold girl makeup” and moody mauve nails to make room for warmer beauty aesthetics. Nail trends, specifically, are starting fresh in the form of nude tones and pale pinks, plus pops of abstract adornments here and there. The acrylic craze of 2020, which saw many Gen Zers glue on Cynthia Erivo-approved talons, seems to have finally finished as short nails make a comeback for easy upkeep and a more natural finish. One trend that we have yet to shake, however, is the Hailey Bieber “glazed donut” look. Manicurists are still coating base colors — now pale pink, guava and butter yellow — in powder chrome, whether it’s only on a single nail or all of them. Here, 10 summer 2025 nail trends, according to professional manicurists and major red carpet moments. Queen Camilla Brings Back a Key Piece From Her Royal Wardrobe: The Peacock Print Dress by Bombshell London

Queen Camilla joined a bevy of attendees at the Women’s Prize for Fiction and Nonfiction event on Wednesday in London. Britain’s queen consort turned to her royal wardrobe and selected a dress she’s worn on several occasions in the past. Queen Camilla selected a peacock print dress courtesy of Bombshell London by Katya Wildman, a boutique which shuttered its doors in 2024. Wildman has since rebranded with her own eponymous label. Queen Camilla also owns a Fiona Clare-designed peacock print dress, which she’s reworn before, including alongside King Charles III at the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show in May 2024. The long-sleeve midi dress Queen Camilla chose to wear for her Wednesday royal engagement, however, features certain distinctions that separate this look from the Fiona Clare-designed dress.
