Spring’s Hottest Animal Prints Are Fawn and Cow — and These New Accessories From Coach Outlet Understand the Assignment

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. Step aside, leopard and tiger — the new cool kids on the animal-print block, according to tastemakers and fashion houses everywhere, are fawn and cow, and they’re here to make your spring outfits that much more adorable. Bambi, for one, has been thrust back into the spotlight as early as last year by labels like Tory Burch, which took the fictional deer’s charming coat and utilized it in service of personality-rich outerwear and dresses (already worn by the likes of Sarah Paulson and Katie Holmes). Sofia Richie Grainge, the ultimate It-girl, also went all in with fawn spots over silk fabric in the very first drop of her brand SRG. So too did we catch a glimpse of this pattern in Gap’s collaboration with Sandy Liang last October — bedecking a half-zip vegan fur pullover whose sumptuously soft nature came impressively close to mimicking a just-born fawn. Courtesy Coach Outlet explore animal-print accessories at coach outlet Why do people gravitate to this design — firmly rooted in the animal world — over most others right now? Donatella Versace, Lionel Richie and More Join King Charles and Queen Camilla at the King’s Trust Gala 2026

Never before have we wondered if King Charles III has seen “The Vampire Diaries,” but after watching him make small talk with Nina Dobrev, the concept is now front of mind. The king himself was the man of the hour, alongside Queen Camilla, at the fifth annual King’s Trust Gala, held Wednesday at Christie’s in Midtown Manhattan. Marking 50 years of the charity, which was called the Prince’s Trust until 2024, this year’s benefit featured an appearance by the royals, which was Charles’ first trip to New York since 2007. The gala began with a 4:30 p.m. red carpet and cocktail hour, where trays of “the queen’s cocktail” were on offer (gin, bitters, elderflower liquor and vermouth with a twist). Ralph Lauren, along with Ricky and David, were early arrivals, chatting with the CFDA’s Steven Kolb. Guests including Lionel Richie, Donatella Versace, Iman, Meghann Fahy and Leo Woodall, Laura Harrier, Charlotte Tilbury, Martha Stewart, Dobrev and Karlie Kloss made their way along the red carpet and into the galleries at Christie’s.  Nina Dobrev, Meghann Fahy and Leo Woodall. Inside Stella McCartney and H&M’s New York Celebration With Reneé Rapp, Janelle Monáe

More than 20 years after debuting their first collaboration, Stella McCartney and H&M decided it was time for an encore. And, naturally, a party. The brands reunited in New York on Wednesday night to take their upcoming collection, available on May 7, out on the town for a test spin at a club in Chelsea. Pieces from the collaboration were worn by models and friends of the brand, including Reneé Rapp, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Lila Moss, Amelia Gray, Charlotte Lawrence, Julez Smith and Lux Pascal. “I had a very late fitting. I had just flown in, and I was like, ‘I’m scared everything’s gonna be taken. Everyone definitely raided all the looks,'” said Gray. Luckily, there was plenty to go around. “I walked into the showroom and I said: ‘I want that.’ I saw it on the mannequin,” added Gray, describing her sequined fringe bra top.   The model has a busy few days ahead: she came straight from set, and is headed back to set in the morning, before flying 20 hours for another shoot. And then it’s back to New York on Saturday to prepare for the Met Gala. “ It’s gonna be my favorite Met Gala ever,” said Gray. “I’m very excited. I

Queen Camilla Brings Sartorial Contrast and More Historic British Jewels to New York City

Queen Camilla favored her go-to designer Fiona Clare Aldridge on Wednesday during engagements alongside King Charles III in New York City for the second leg of their United States tour. King Charles III and Queen Camilla Getty Images The United Kingdom’s queen consort opted for high contrast with her two looks for the day. For the morning’s National September 11 Memorial visit, Queen Camilla wore a bespoke navy coatdress by Fiona Clare Aldridge, a designer the queen consort has worn several times since King Charles’ ascension to the throne. The long-sleeve dress featured embroidery on the bodice, a botanical leaf-inspired design with intricacy. Queen Camilla’s dress also included soft pleating and a midi hemline for the springtime season, though temperatures in New York City have still been brisk this season. King Charles III and Queen Camilla Getty Images The U.K.’s queen consort wore Eliot Zed leather pumps and accessorized with pearl drop earrings and the Queen Mother’s Britannia Brooch. Britannia is the personified national symbol of Britain initially used during Roman times, according the The Court Jeweller. The female warrior is depicted with a Corinthian helmet carrying a trident and olive branch in each hand. She also has a shield depicting the design of the Union Jack.

Janelle Monáe Holds Court in Regal Ruff Collar Design

Janelle Monáe held court in an Abodi Transylvania ensemble on the red carpet for the “Is God Is” premiere in New York City on Monday night. Janelle Monáe Getty Images The “Moonlight” actor turned to the label’s fall 2026 collection for her Gothic-inspired attire, which included a structural salute to the mid-16th and 17th centuries. The structured, dark glamour gown was crafted with black velvety and satin fabric, with a bodice featuring elements of semi-sheer material and ribbons of velvet black bands cascading down the front. The sleeves of the look were voluminous, adding further drama to the ensemble. Janelle Monáe Getty Images The full skirt included the added element of deep red bows, strewn throughout the fabric for a slightly feminine, if still dark and sensual, touch. The standout piece, however, was the white ruff collar. Famously fashioned by such figureheads as Queen Elizabeth I, and captured in portraits throughout history, the ruff collar was a popular fashion element during the 1500s and 1600s. Often a symbol of wealth and status, the size of ruffs grew from the 16th to the 17th century and usually served as symbols of status. Janelle Monáe Getty Images Along with the ornate dress, Monáe carried Abodi Transylvania’s Vampire Castle Bag. Inspired by Bran

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. If you’re anything like us, you’re counting down the days until Saturday, May 2 — which is when one of the most fashion-forward sporting events, the Kentucky Derby, is set to take place this year. WWD recently spoke with Zanna Roberts Rassi (a Today Show correspondent and guest editor of the official Kentucky Derby Style Guide who will be covering the Derby live for NBC) to gauge her opinions on exactly what’s hot and what’s not in the realm of womenswear at the annual happening. Though Rassi’s insights were nothing short of illuminating — try a quirky color combination! Put effort into your raincoat, as umbrellas aren’t allowed! Start with the hat! — there was one thing we failed to mention in that article, and it’s just how important a watch can be in tying together your look at large while exuding the kind of preppy, old-money energy that the Derby is known for. This is where Bulova, a circa-1875, New York City–based watchmaker, comes in to bless last-minute shoppers with a carefully curated edit of the best luxury watches for women to wear to

New Museum Spring Gala 2026 Draws Chloë Sevigny, John Waters & More

The art crowd gathered at Cipriani South Street on Monday evening to send off New Museum director Lisa Phillips, who is set to retire, at the museum’s annual Spring Gala. Phillips was the woman of the hour, in constant rotation between the step-and-repeat and cocktail hour, where just about every guest wanted a photo with her. The crowd, dressed in sparkles, pink and metallics, milled about the cherry-blossom-filled room. Chloë Sevigny and John Waters made small talk while Dustin Yellin and Mickalene Thomas caught up. Other guests included Joan Jonas, Barbara Kruger, Judy Chicago, Thelma Golden, Jeff Koons, John Leguizamo, Marilyn Minter, Miles Greenberg, Rashid Johnson, Hilton Als, Matt Dillon and more. “It’s overwhelming,” said Phillips of being honored at the spring benefit. “It has been 51 years in the art world. That’s a long time. It’s a lifetime achievement award of sorts. I’m just overwhelmed by seeing people from the past 50 years of my life here, from all over the country, all over the world.” The evening had her reflecting on her career with the museum. “It feels hopeful and I think optimistic for the next chapter, for all of us, for the museum and for me,” she said. “We were founded

The Best Sunscreens for Acne-Prone Skin to Buy on Amazon, as Recommended by Dermatologists

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. The weather’s on the up and up, the UV index is climbing, and you’re probably thinking about the best sunscreens to stock up on before summertime’s official arrival. Picking out a sunscreen that works to protect you from harmful UV rays, goes on smooth and clear (no white cast here!), and can even layer seamlessly under makeup feels easy enough, but complications arise for those of us dealing with acne-prone skin. There’s a well-known stigma surrounding sunscreen in this particular community, propelled by the myth that the product exacerbates existing breakouts and increases the chances of new ones popping up. We’re here to tell you that this is only the case with oily-and-greasy sunscreen types that clog up pores and don’t take blemished skin into consideration. Another false belief in need of some debunking? That spending time in the sun, sans sunblock, can effectively dry out pimples. According to the Florida-based practice Water’s Edge Dermatology, sunlight does dry the top layer of the skin, but this triggers a process in which the body “produc[es] even more oil to compensate for what

What to Wear to the Kentucky Derby, According to a Style Expert and Longtime Attendee

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. The Masters came and went, and now another historic event with a famously hard-to-crack dress code is upon us: the Kentucky Derby, of course, which is set to take place on Saturday, May 2, at the horse racing complex Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. If you’re planning on skipping the more casual infield celebrations and heading straight for the first-turn reserved seating that weekend, you are probably well aware that a lot is expected from you in the fashion sense. Grabbing a fancy hat and staying away from umbrellas (thank us later) should be muscle memory, but it’s tougher to crack the grand happening’s more hush-hush dressing requirements. To help simplify your packing journey and fill you in on exactly what to wear to the Kentucky Derby, we tapped the aid of Zanna Roberts Rassi — Milk Makeup co-founder, Today Show style correspondent, and guest editor of the official 2026 Kentucky Derby Style Guide. She’s held this latter position for multiple years now and is a veritable veteran where Derby attendance is concerned; this year, Rassi will be providing Derby coverage

It’s been over a week now since the season two finale of “The Pitt” aired, and Sepideh Moafi is still sorting through messages from viewers. The actor joined the hit HBO series for its second season as Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi, who remained a mystery for much of the season until the final few episodes, when her seizure disorder was revealed.  “I’ve been so beautifully overwhelmed by the number of messages I’ve been getting from people who carry chronic conditions or chronic illnesses and deal with seizure disorders, and the kind of visibility that this role brings,” Moafi says over Zoom from her New York apartment. “The thing that was important to me going in was creating visibility for a type of health care worker, a type of doctor that travels abroad and works in conflict zones, humanitarian doctors. “But to have this kind of reaction and visibility for people who have been managing this condition their whole lives has been so just incredibly potent and beautiful. Anne Hathaway Goes Gothic in Iris Van Herpen for ‘Mother Mary’

Anne Hathaway turned to one of Iris Van Herpen’s early 2020s designs for Thursday night’s red carpet screening of her new film “Mother Mary” in London. The Oscar-winning actress turned to the Dutch label’s spring 2020 couture collection, which debuted as part of Paris Couture Week in January 2020. Largely inspired by “neuroscience illustration and deep-sea marine organisms,” per Lily Templeton’s WWD review of the collection, the Gothic look was strewn with black fabric and intricate lines that effectively channeled neural pathways. Anne Hathaway Getty Images for A24 Hints of Gothic, subdued style were incorporated as well, with black fabric set against a sheer base to provide contrast and intrigue in equal measure. The sleeves of the dress were long and billowing, complementing the flowing skirt. Van Herpen’s “Sensory Sea” collection featured “two, intertwined references: hydrozoa, delicate deep-sea organisms that lent their wispy tendrils to her dresses, and the illustrations of Spanish neuroscientist and pathologist Santiago Ramón y Cajal,” per Templeton’s review. Anne Hathaway Getty Images for A24 Hathaway further augmented the dress with a pair of black pumps by Aquazzura in a black tone with lattice-style work. It’s the first show after opening night for “Fallen Angels,” and the celebration is still in bloom for Broadway star Kelli O’Hara. “I did walk in here today and all the flowers are still in here — there’s streamers,” she says from her dressing room at the Todd Haimes Theatre before the evening performance. Earlier that morning, she received a Critics Circle nomination for outstanding lead performer in a play. “There’s an exhaustion that comes with the relief of this hard work,” she adds. “You feel relief when things seem to be positive. Where you go, ‘Oh, OK, now I can relax.’” O’Hara leads the Broadway revival of the 1925 comedic play alongside Rose Byrne. The women star as Julia and Jane, two married friends who reconnect with a mutual former flame while both of their husbands are away. Straw handbags might feel like a buzzy new trend — appearing in the hands of everyone from front-row Fashion Week attendees to your favorite style influencers for the past few springs and summers — but the boho haulers actually have a long, rich history to their name. Per WWD’s resident historian and archives editor Tonya Blazio-Licorish, they “rose to prominence in the 1940s,” with “leather-trimmed straw basket bags, lacy openwork styles, and oversize totes in natural tones [becoming] staples for fashionable vacation spots in California, Palm Beach, and the Hamptons.” Notably, fashion muse Jane Birkin catapulted the accessory to new heights in the ’70s, taking it from protests to parties. Suddenly, everyone had to own one, and fashion houses from Ralph Lauren to Fendi started putting their own spins on the silhouette to turn it into a veritable collectible. For spring/summer 2026, Coach is the label to watch — and shop — if you’re interested in owning a chic and practical straw purse or woven handbag that will serve you well for years and years of wear. After all, the It-girl-approved brand spotlights

Diane Keaton’s Curated Wardrobe and Art Hit the Auction Block

Bonhams is curating a collection of fashion-forward pieces and memorabilia for the auction house’s forthcoming “Diane Keaton: The Architecture of an Icon.” Curated in collaboration with The Fine Art Group, Bonhams’ collection will span a series of four sales across New York City and Los Angeles beginning this June. “Diane Keaton was not simply a collector, but a consummate editor,” Anna Hicks, Bonhams head of private and iconic collections, said in a statement. A Ralph Lauren houndstooth two‑piece suit and overcoat ensemble, left, and the original untitled script for “Annie Hall.” (1977) Courtesy of Bonhams “Each piece — whether it be art, fashion, decor or personal object — was chosen by her with remarkable precision and clarity, reflecting an innate instinct for composition, restraint and meaning. Together, these four sales offer collectors and enthusiasts alike a rare view into a life shaped by creative authorship, where every element has been thoughtfully considered and curated.” Among the auctions taking place, May 31 kicks off “The Diane Keaton Collection: Tailored & Timeless” online sale — the first of three online auctions. Concluding June 9, “The Diane Keaton Collection: Tailored & Timeless” sale features a selection of more than 200 pieces of clothing, jewelry, hats and accessories from Keaton’s wardrobe. What Do Ashley Tisdale and Gabrielle Union Have in Common? They Both Use This Clinically Backed, Award-Winning Hyaluronic Acid Serum

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. Hyaluronic acid serums constitute one of the most popular skin care categories in today’s day, having gone mainstream circa the 1990s and 2000s after being used primarily in medical procedures. If you know that these topicals are skin care saviors but aren’t exactly sure how they work to enhance the appearance of skin, it’s really very simple: Hyaluronic acid is a molecule already found naturally in our skin that pulls moisture from the atmosphere and thus contributes to overall hydration while helping smooth wrinkles and fine lines. Hyaluronic acid–backed beauty offerings, in turn, augment the body’s production levels of this element, and their sheer effectiveness explains why the ingredient is in such high demand right now. Hundreds of brands have come out with their own cutting-edge hyaluronic acid serums that boast coveted anti-aging properties, but perhaps the most celebrity-endorsed is PCA Skin: founded in 1990 and developed in tandem with dermatologists. PCA Skin prides itself on using “clinically backed research and science to [create] safe and effective products,” according to its site, and therefore holds more authority in the industry than many

I Tested EltaMD’s Most Innovative, Acne-Safe Sunscreen to Date — Here Are My Thoughts

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. As a beauty writer, there are a few celebrity-endorsed brands I’ve come to recognize over the years as actually worth the hype. EltaMD — which had its start in 1800s rural Switzerland as a healing ointment provider — is one of them, being regularly shouted out by the likes of Drew Barrymore and Hailey Bieber while creating the types of sun-care offerings that are science-backed and live up to the highest industry standards. This latter aspect is how EltaMD was able to become the #1 dermatologist-recommended sunscreen company, and it’s continuing the hot streak with an SPF formula that takes sunscreens for acne-prone skin to a whole new level. Earlier this year, I had the privilege of dropping anchor at Colgate-Palmolive’s R&D headquarters in New Jersey ahead of the product’s release, where I was introduced to the award-winning scientists responsible for it. EltaMD’s resident team of experts spent years engineering a sunscreen that not only had a palliative effect on acne but could visibly reduce blemishes, oil, shine, and pore size in users. The result? EltaMD’s latest and greatest UV

Inside the Tribeca Ball Honoring Alan Cumming

On Monday night, block party season got an early kickoff courtesy of the New York Academy of Art. A jazz band kept the artfully dressed Tribeca Ball crowd — and curious onlookers across the street —entertained as guests lined the Franklin Street sidewalk, inching closer to the main event as stilt walkers ushered them inside. “She brought dessert, I brought dinner,” quipped one guest, holding a golden fish-shaped bag as Carla Shen walked by with a cake-shaped clutch. Before the evening’s actual dinner, Will Cotton, Rose Dergan, Dustin Yellin, Nicole Miller, Brynn Whitfield and more explored the school’s upper floors, where students were stationed in their studio spaces with work on display — and in some cases, were mid-creation. Rose Dergen, Will Cotton and Carla Shen. Lexie Moreland/WWD The evening honored Alan Cumming, alongside Eileen Guggenheim and Russell Wilkinson. “We are living in a time where both the arts in general and education itself — and learning — is under threat, and is so looked down upon and not encouraged,” Cumming said of his support for the New York Academy of Art. “I’ve always loved the fact that this school is about going back to traditional forms and ensuring a rounded education about the fine arts,”

Queen Camilla Opts for Ornate Embroidery in Fiona Clare

Queen Camilla returned to go-to designer Fiona Clare for her attire during Tuesday’s viewing alongside King Charles III in London of the final design for the Queen Elizabeth Memorial, which fell on the 100th anniversary of the birth of Queen Elizabeth II. For the royal engagement, the U.K.’s queen consort opted for a subdued look by Fiona Clare Aldridge, a London-based designer and among Queen Camilla’s favorite couturiers. The coatdress was crafted with long sleeves and a midi hemline. King Charles III and Queen Camilla Getty Images The streamlined design included a rounded collar and sinuous lapels. White embroidery featured on the waist and cuffs of the dress, incorporating floral details throughout for a touch of femininity and nod to the springtime season. Queen Camilla added a pair of sheer black tights to her attire, and wore Eliot Zed black suede pumps with a black leather toe cap to augment the subdued elegant style. She also carried the Atelier Renard bag in a shade of navy, crafted with crocodile and suede material. Eva Longoria Goes Sleek in Cong Tri Dress

Inside the 2026 Save Venice Gala and a Pre-Gala Cocktail to Celebrate Young CFDA Talent

“You’re all here, of course, to go to Save Venice,” said Lauren Levison from a VIP suite at The Peninsula early on Friday evening. “But really, it’s an excuse to celebrate the talent that’s in this room. There is nothing better than leaving something special.” Levison was hosting a cocktail in celebration of five young CFDA designers ahead of the annual Save Venice Un Ballo in Maschera gala. In one corner of the room, Chloe Mendel Corgan was getting her tarot cards read by a psychic — in line with the gala’s “Celestial Serenissima” theme — as husband Billy Corgan listened on. On the opposite side of the suite, a selection of custom masks was laid out neatly on a bed, created by Gigi Burris for Levison’s guests and her fellow designers. And also for Connor Storrie, who found himself flanked by Tiffany brand ambassadors Rosé and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for a prime photo-op inside the Park Avenue Armory during cocktail hour. The trio were decked in pieces from the brand’s new Hidden Garden high jewelry collection, which debuted this week.  Newly minted “Tiffany boy” Storrie has been racking up the Tiffany dressing credits in the months since the debut of “Heated Rivalry.” He wore a “pretty epic” diamond choker for the Actor Awards, and a Bird on a Rock brooch for the Golden Globes.  “That was my first time seeing a diamond of that caliber and of that beauty up close. It was pretty impressive,” he said. “ I was definitely like, how does this work? There’s a whole process of like, this is legit, I better not lose this. The Best Nike Shoes for Walking to Shop Online This Year

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. While you might most closely associate sportswear giant Nike with its running innovations (Harry Styles’ marathon-approved Nike Alphafly 3 road-racing sneaker being one of them), the cult-hit Swoosh label is just as proficient at making walking shoes for men and women that can keep you supported — and pain-free — for everything from 20-mile hikes to casual weekend strolls in the park. There’s no such thing as the ultimate best Nike shoe for walking in 2026, as different types of walkers (and Nike fans) prefer different versions of Nike sneakers to help them with the task at hand. “You’ll want a high-end running shoe like the Invinsible or the Vomero 18. Nike also makes a shoe specifically for walking: the Motiva,” one Redditor commented on a r/Nike post from a year ago, in which another user reported needing something soft, cushioned, and stable for their walks. A second brand loyalist confirmed the sentiment: “The Motivas are sneaky awesome. By all accounts, it’s white sneakers, which are overachieving sartorial workhorses during any season but especially one in which you’ll be finding yourself walking all over the city — a pursuit that demands owning shoes both comfortable and more elevated than your typical running sneaker. The best white sneakers for women are adaptable to every last combination and permutation of outfit, whether you’re teaming them up with a slinky LBD (Emily Ratajkowski is a well-known fan of this combo), a maxi skirt– and denim jacket–fueled getup, sharp work trousers for the office, or your go-to athleisure set. Treat the shoes as finishing touches to a bright pantsuit moment — Jill Biden’s white On shoes with a color-happy suit jacket and pants being a prime example — and they’ll freshen you up from head to toe (go ahead and leverage the TikTok-viral “sandwich rule” by putting on a white tank top, too). The Best Straight-Leg Jeans for Women to Wear From Work to Date Night This Spring

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. The straight-leg jean is one of fashion’s most immortal creatures — cropping up season after season while showing no signs of ending its authority over the closets of society’s most style-savvy. The simple reason for why straight-leg jeans keep being featured everywhere from fashion houses’ new collections to the displays of It-girl-endorsed brands like Aritzia and Reformation? The silhouette, unlike its baggier or more flared counterparts, is the dictionary definition of the word “versatile.” Pair it with boat shoes, and you’ll get a “I spend my summers at Martha’s Vineyard” look. Team up the jean style with a trench coat and leather ankle boots for early spring, and you’ll become the office’s best-dressed employee. “In recent years, we’ve seen a huge shift in people moving away from the super-stretch skinnies and opting for more authentic, rigid fabrications reminiscent of vintage jeans of the ‘90s,” explains Erin Meehan, creative director of denim at Aritzia. “When seeking inspiration for the perfect rigid straight-leg, I always tend to think of those iconic paparazzi shots from the ‘90s: Cindy Crawford, Julia Roberts, and Meg Ryan so

Inside the New York Gala Premiere for ‘Brunello: The Gracious Visionary’

Brunello Cucinelli just wants to be a good man. The designer repeated that sentiment, passed down from his father, throughout the evening on Tuesday night in New York. Cucinelli was in town for the gala premiere of his docu-film “Brunello: The Gracious Visionary” at Lincoln Center, a black-tie affair that reflected his namesake brand’s relaxed genre of luxury. Joined by family and friends, the designer turned the occasion into an opportunity to share the brand’s core message: be a good person. “The film transmits the essence of our brand, of our family,” said Carolina Cucinelli, one of Brunello’s daughters and the brand’s vice president and co-creative director. The film, which blends narrative and documentary storytelling, retraces Brunello Cucinelli’s humble childhood and path to establishing his brand through a commitment to quality, sustainability and community engagement. “Just trust in yourself, and don’t turn the eyes to the people less fortunate than you,” said Carolina Cucinelli of her father’s enduring advice, iterated throughout the film. “And just follow your dream.” The “follow your dream” message was particularly resonant for Jay Ellis and other creatives in the crowd. “ Every day I go to work is a risk. I think every choice I’ve ever made is a risk,”

On the Orange Carpet at the 2026 WNBA Draft

The 2026 WNBA draft rolled out the orange carpet at The Shed on Monday evening, where this year’s draft class showed up in looks inspired by old Hollywood, simplicity and feeling confident.  The night’s number-one draft pick, Dallas Wings-bound Azzi Fudd, wore a custom Coach gown covered in silver sequins. Coach launched a sponsorship of the WNBA last year, and once again dressed several players on draft night. “I saw the final product today,” Fudd said of her dress. “We did a fitting late last week and it was like a white dress with like a patch of sequins and I was like ‘uh oh.’ So today blew my mind.”  Fudd was planning to celebrate after the draft at a party with her family and teammates before she’ll head to her new city.  When not playing basketball, she’s in the market for ways to fill her free time. “I’m going to need some hobbies. Now that I’m finishing up school, we need some new hobbies,” she said. “We need to find things to do, places to eat — I love to eat.”  Kiki Rice Kristina Bumphrey/WWD Kiki Rice, also dressed in Coach, had matched her nails to her silver jewelry, relishing the chance to have long curved nails. “[I

Dyson’s First-Ever Personal Fan Sold Out in Days — Here Are 3 Alternatives That Will Arrive in Time for Coachella Weekend Two

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. The misting stations set up strategically around the Coachella grounds weren’t enough. This past weekend, during my inaugural trip to the iconic music festival, I felt like I needed more in the way of cooling for the entirety of the 80-plus-degree days. Glorious relief came in the form of Dyson’s portable fan debut, joining beloved beauty innovations from the brand like the Supersonic Nural. I was sent an early product sample of the HushJet Mini Cool fan, promptly packing the under-$100 arrival into my carry-on alongside ensembles from Hollister, Free People, and Nuuly. Little did I know how handy it would become in the dry desert environs (or how quickly the warm-weather godsend would sell out after officially releasing on April 9). As it stands, all three colorways of the HushJet Mini Cool are out of stock on Dyson’s site and not yet made available anywhere else. Monsta X is on the move. “We’re just staying for two days,” says group member Kihyun. “We have to leave tomorrow.” Although the K-pop group’s latest visit to New York was brief, they made the most of each moment during a whirlwind two-day trip last week. Filling those days: an early call time for a live performance of their newest single “Heal” on “Good Morning America,” a visit to their Monsta X pop-up store in SoHo, a walk along the Hudson River and grabbing a slice from Joe’s Pizza. And lots of press for “Unfold,” their third English-language album.  Not even an early spring cold spell could keep their fanbase from coming out to welcome the group back to New York after their on-air performance, shortly after landing in town from L.A. “ That moment was so, so impressive,”  says Hyungwon, his hand held across over heart.  “[American fans] have been waiting a long, long time, because we couldn’t come here because of military service,” says Kihyun, whose hair is currently colored a bright burgundy. “ So we are back again, and we’re so happy that we can bring our new English album and show our album to our fans.” Minhyuk, Hyungwon, Joohoney, Kihyun and Shownu of Monsta
