Kiki Iriafen Gets Ready for the 2025 WNBA Draft
“I feel like it’s hitting me right now that in a few hours I’m going to be drafted,” said Kiki Iriafen from the glam chair. A few hours ahead of the WNBA draft, the USC player was in her hotel room at the Equinox Hotel in Manhattan having her hair and makeup done in her sweats, an iced matcha in hand. Iriafen flew in from Los Angeles on a 7 a.m. flight Friday morning and had spent the weekend with the rest of the draft class. “We’ve just been hanging out, getting to know each other a lot more,” Iriafen said. “I know Georgia Amoore pretty well; we did a camp this summer together. And then some of the other girls we played against each other and have been in similar circles, so it was nice to connect with people on a deeper level and not be playing against each other.” After a weekend full of commitments, she spent the night before draft day walking around Times Square with her friends and ended up at Raising Cane’s until 1 a.m. “They actually turned it into a mini club.
