New York Magazine Celebrates First Men’s Style Issue With Mike Faist, Brandon Flynn and More

After occupying fashion and media conversations since its release on Monday, the inaugural men’s style issue of New York Magazine was toasted properly on Tuesday evening with a celebratory dinner. New York’s editor in chief David Haskell, senior men’s style editor Samuel Hine and editor at large Erik Maza cohosted a dinner at Bistrot Ha on the Lower East Side, with support from Canada Goose. The New York team was joined by the creators behind the issue as well as some of the famous faces in its pages. Guests included Mike Faist, currently making the promotion rounds for the upcoming Netflix adaptation of “East of Eden;”; stars of the Netflix show “Boots” Angus O’Brien and Jack Cameron Kay; actors Isaac Cole Powell and Brandon Flynn; playwright Jordan Tannahill, and musician Holden Jaffe, known as Del Water Gap. Designers Todd Snyder, Wes Gordon and Paul Arnhold were there, as was model Wisdom Kaye, who is featured in the issue; artist and photographer, Iké Udé, who photographed Kaye, and photographers Ryan McGinley and stylist Miyako Bellizzi, the duo responsible for the bathhouse-set cover story. Bar CC, From the Crane Club Team, Is Letting the Cocktails Shine

Bar CC wants to get the party started — and keep it going. The new cocktail lounge, located in West Chelsea, is an extension of restaurant and membership-based Crane Club. For Bar CC, co-owners Jeff Katz and chef Melissa Rodriguez, who teamed up with Tao Group Hospitality to open Crane Club in 2024, brought Harrison Ginsberg onboard as a partner to oversee the beverage program. Ginsberg previously worked at downtown restaurants Crown Shy, Saga and Overstory, all cofounded by Katz at 70 Pine Street. “ We originally were going to do a much more cut-and-dry extension of the Crane restaurant spaces,” says Katz of their approach to Bar CC, which takes over the space previously occupied by the team’s pizzeria Mel’s, which closed in early 2025. “What we’ve decided makes much more sense and is something that can support the Crane Club experience in a different way,” he adds. “ Crane was: we’re gonna crush this amazing food, service, quality, and we’re going to do it in a high-energy space alongside the Tao team. Chloë Sevigny and Mytheresa Host Cocktail Party at Hotel Chelsea

Chloë Sevigny is the unofficial high priestess of New York Fashion Week parties, and things just don’t feel right until she’s helmed an event.  On Saturday night, Mytheresa took over Café Chelsea for a cocktail party with Sevigny, who fronts their latest fall campaign.  The party took over the many rooms of the hotel’s restaurant, where guests could plop into booths and enjoy passing french fries, or mingle with a martini near DJ Jade Croo. Coups of pink Champagne were stacked into a tower, and around 10 p.m. trays of espresso martinis made the rounds. Sevigny held court tucked into a corner with friends, while other guests including Jennifer Fisher, Fernando Garcia, The Elevator Boys, Jonathan Simkhai and Charlotte Groenveld popped by.
