Princess Charlene of Monaco may turned to Kate Middleton’s closet for inspiration her latest red carpet look — the royal wore a Jenny Packham design for the 20th Anniversary Gala of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation at the Opera Garnier in Monaco on Friday. Joined by her husband of 15 years, Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene wore the British designer’s Livia bead embellished maxi dress. The gown was cast in a dark liquorice color, with an A-line silhouette and vented back for ease of movement. Falling over the shoulders of Princess Charlene, the neckline was completely embellished with beadwork in the same shade of black for a monochrome finish. A sheer material created the ideal canvas for the bevy of beads, which included small, circular pieces, to larger, statement ones encrusting the neckline along with a variety of bugle-shaped beads that dangled from the neckline just above the bust.
