Flash star Ezra Miller, who has had multiple run-ins with the law in recent months, has been accused of another crime of harassing a woman in Germany, while another woman in Iceland broke her silence of the time when she was choked by them.

The incident took place at Prikið Kaffihús, a pub in Reykjavik that Miller found themselves frequenting in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic. The actor went viral after a video showed them putting a woman in a chokehold. In a new report by Variety, the woman that Miller choked spoke out about the experience and revealed that it was part of a pattern of dangerous behavior during the actor’s time in Iceland.

The woman, who remained anonymous, confirmed that Miller choked her on April 11, 2020. She says that she approached Miller and asked about the flip-flops they were wearing, and had a relatively cordial conversation before the actor snapped and challenged her to a fight. “But just so you know, I could take you in a fight,” Miller said. “You really want to fight?” Miller then grabbed her by the neck and choked her. At first, the woman thought Miller was joking but soon realized that she was in a dangerous situation.

“I think it’s just fun and games — but then it wasn’t,” she said. Carlos Reynir, then a bartender at Prikið Kaffihús, also confirmed the incident and said it was not the only altercation he saw Miller get into at the bar. “There was always something with Ezra,” he said. As Indie Wire notes, while the choking incident in Iceland had been reported on in the past, a previously unknown accusation against Miller has also come to light. An anonymous German woman, who asked to be identified simply as “Nadia,” says that she had a two-year friendship with Miller that occasionally included consensual sex.

But that changed one night in February when she invited Miller to her apartment in Berlin. She alleges that Miller was friendly at first, but then snapped at her when she told them they could not smoke in the apartment. “That just set them off,” Nadia said. “I asked them to leave about 20 times, maybe more. They started insulting me. I’m a ‘transphobic piece of shit.’ I’m a ‘Nazi.’ It became so, so stressful for me. They were going around my house, looking at everything, touching everything, spreading tobacco leaves on the floor. It felt disgusting and very intrusive.”

After roughly a half-hour of pleading, Nadia said she finally convinced Miller to leave once she called the police. The incident left her deeply disturbed. While she is clear that she never felt at risk of sexual assault that night in her apartment, she believed the actor “could somehow attack me physically. I totally felt unsafe,” she said. “I was worried,” one of Nadia’s friends told Variety. “I think she was misled — she had a memory of them from when they had time in LA, and what she got [in Berlin] was really different. It sounded dangerous.”

As revealed earlier in June, Ezra Miller, who identifies as a non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, was arrested for several instances of violence and disorderly conduct earlier in Hawaii. More recently, the actor has faced allegations of grooming a child from the age of 12, and has been accused of hosting a woman and three young children at their farm in an ‘unsafe environment.’

Game of Thrones star Lena Headey is being sued by her former United Kingdom-based agency, Troika, for $1.5 million over various unpaid commission fees.

According to Variety, Troika, which re-branded as YMU in 2020, claims Headey owes the agency at least $500,000 — equivalent to 7% of her fee — for her earnings on Thor: Love and Thunder in which she does not appear in the final cut. The film is set for release next week. According to court documents, Headey joined Troika in 2005 after following her personal rep, Michael Duff, there from his previous agency Lou Carl Associates.

Lena Headey was involved with the aforementioned agency until 2020. Despite Headey not being part of the agency today, Troika/YMU claims the actress still owes a number of commission fees for projects like Thor 4, 9 Bullets, and Rita. The agency claims Headey owes them $300,000 and $650,000 for 9 Bullets and Rita, respectively. Beyond the commission fees, Troika/YMU are seeking an order for Headey to pay said fees, damages for breach of contract, interest and reimbursement of legal fees.

In her defense, Lena Headey claims she never signed any contract with Troika or with Duff, and that both parties were acting on an oral agreement formed when Duff was still at Lou Carl Associates in the late 1990s. Per the report, her filings also point out that Troika was never Headey’s sole agent, as she is also represented by CAA in the U.S.

More specifically, Headey disputes that Troika has any claim to commission Thor: Love and Thunder — which she says came about after director Taika Waititi approached her directly — or 9 Bullets, neither of which were negotiated by Troika or Duff. Meanwhile on Rita, Headey says she only ever received $325,000 for the pilot episode, of which Troika has already been paid $22,750, and that “no further episodes are planned.”

South Korean pop idol and actor Cha Eun Woo has reportedly been offered the lead role in the upcoming Hollywood film K-Pop: Lost In America.

According to Korean tabloid Soompi, the film, which was announced last year as being slated for a 2023 release, will tell the story of a K-pop group that finds themselves stranded in Texas just days before their global debut tour kicks off at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

“With no phones, no money, and no transportation, the group must overcome a series of “crazy obstacles” in order to make it to New York City in time for their U.S. debut.” In response to Cha Eun Woo’s casting reports, the artist’s label Fantagio stated on July 1, “Cha Eun Woo is positively reviewing [the offer] to star in ‘K-Pop: Lost in America,’ but nothing has been confirmed.”

Previously, Deadline reported that Hollywood stars Rebel Wilson and Charles Melton had been cast in the upcoming film which will be directed by JK Youn (also known as Yoon Je Kyun), the South Korean filmmaker. K-Pop: Lost In America was first announced in August 2021 by South Korean media company CJ ENM. The film will be produced by Parasite executive producer Miky Lee and Interstellar producer Lynda Obst.

The filming for K-Pop: Lost in America is scheduled to begin filming in the second half of 2022.

Television actress Mahhi Vij, who is married to co-actor-host Jay Bhanushali, recently took to Twitter to share that she and her family were harassed by her cook. She even revealed in those deleted tweets that she has approached the Mumbai Police to request them for help after her cook hurled abuses and threated to stab her with a knife. In a report with ETimes, the actress spoke about the issue that left her and her family baffled.

In her ETimes interview, she revealed that the temporary cook, they had hired through a friend’s reference, was caught stealing some items by their nanny. She went on to add, “It had just been three days and we were alerted that he’s stealing. I had waited to inform Jay. When Jay came, he wanted to settle the bill but the cook demanded to be paid for the entire month. When Jay tried to reason out, he said ‘200 biharis laake khada kar dunga’. He got drunk and started hurling abuses at us. We went to the cops. I don’t care if anything happens to me, but I was scared for my daughter.”

She also added that she is extremely afraid that if he comes out in bail, he will try to harm her and her daughter. “If something happens to me, people will protest later. What’s the point then? I am scared for my family’s safety. I heard he will be out on bail. What if he actually gets men after coming out of the jail and targets us?” she maintained.

Mahhi Vij also maintained that when they hired the cook, despite asking for more salary, he eventually agreed to the payment as per their budget. He also asserted them that he had a family and kids. She expressed in disappointment that she never knew he would turn out to be like this.

R Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut wooed audiences with a romance-comedy franchise Tanu Weds Manu. The two films that released with the onscreen couple managed to garner immense audience appreciation both times. However, we haven’t seen the return of the third part despite the way people appreciated the chemistry between the pair. When asked the hero, Madhavan, who is the in the midst of promoting Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, revealed that he wouldn’t want to return as Manu.

In report by Hindustan Times, Madhavan was quoted in an interview with the popular YouTuber Jaby Koay, wherein he spoke about the third part of Tanu Weds Manu. “I think that’s water under the bridge. There is no point in beating a dead horse. You know, it’s so difficult to come up with original stuff, and then there are expectations of a film. See, if it’s a sequel to Avengers or a superhero series, it’s easier because you have a template. But with Tanu Weds Manu, it’s impossible. And I think I am done with it. I don’t want to go back to being Manu now,” he was quoted saying.

For the uninitiated, Tanu Weds Manu that released in 2011, showcases the story of the two titular characters, how they meet and how complex their love story gets, eventually leading to marriage. Tanu Weds Manu Returns in 2015 spoke about their post marriage life which deals with their internal issues and the entry of yet another character named Datto who adds twist to the plot. While the 2011 release had garnered a positive response from the audience, the 2015 film managed to break records.

Speaking about Madhavan's forthcoming film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, it marks the directorial debut of R Madhavan and is based on the life of the ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan. It is slated to release on July 1.
