Penélope Cruz has long demonstrated the power of precision dressing on the red carpet, and her Venice Film Festival style is no different. Over the course of nearly a decade, the Oscar-winning Spanish actress‘ style has incorporated bold reflections on Old Hollywood style with a modern bent toward couture runway collections. Chanel and Versace are just a few of the luxury houses Cruz has brought to Italy’s famed city, the former of which she’s served as a longtime collaborator and ambassador. The actress wore a black gown from the French luxury fashion house’s haute couture fall 2022 collection, featuring a textural black fabric with a plunging, sweetheart neckline and a flouncy skirt created to look like flower petals with white speckles throughout.
