Last February, viral TikTok unboxing videos of the Diptyque Valentine’s Day limited-edition candles reached a fever pitch — not only expressing appreciation for (and, dare we say, obsession over) the candles’ heart-shaped design in cherry red and sandy pink but also their divine smell. Presently, TikTok users are also jumping at the opportunity to film their V-Day candles from Diptyque in tranquil bedroom settings, with comments expressing the sentiment that this is just the sign users needed to finally buy their own. In 2025, like in the year prior, the duo’s scents are Baies and Roses. While the former is meant to evoke fresh-picked blackcurrant berries with a subtle touch of rose, the latter is a full-on rose moment — reminiscent of dew-embellished petals on a spring day in May. Both, in other words, are an antidote to the bitter winter cold many of us are experiencing as we speak.
