Chloë Sevigny, Addison Rae, Natasha Lyonne and More Party for Myth Magazine’s Launch During NYFW

The scent of cigarette smoke wafting down Sixth Avenue announced that the Myth Magazine party was nearby on Saturday evening around 9:30 p.m. The venue, downtown hot spot Holiday Bar, has hosted many a fashion party since opening a few years ago — but the outdoor sidewalk terrace that served as a smoking section surely had to be what made it the venue of choice. Myth Magazine editor in chief, stylist Haley Wollens, and needs-no-introduction Chloë Sevigny were hosting a party to celebrate the launch of the magazine. Slogans like “fashion is a performance,” “magazines are a myth” and “I’m not like the other magazines” were on display inside the restaurant, which had been cleared of its tables to enable dancing.  Addison Rae, Natasha Lyonne, Coco Gordon Moore, Tyrell Hampton, Rebecca Dayan and Rowan Blanchard were in attendance, as was Wollens’ mother, plus other members of the downtown and aspirationally downtown set. 1980s synth blended into ’90s hip-hop overhead, electronic roses glowing red were strewn across tables and restaurant owner Kyle Hotchkiss Carone wove his way through the room transporting a bottle of Body vodka.  “I think it’s important to have a really epic New York magazine that’s capturing what’s happening in New

Moda Operandi Hosts Cocktails and Live Jazz Party to Celebrate NYFW

In the midst of the first official day of New York Fashion Week, Moda Operandi offered a moment of relaxation in the form of a cocktail party and live jazz show at The Jazz Café at Casa Cipriani. Guests included Ava Phillippe, Sarah Hoover, Athena Calderone, Charlotte Groeneveld, Talita von Furstenberg, Joseph Altuzarra, Trish Westcoat Pound of TWP, The Frankie Shops’ Gaëlle Drevet and of course, Moda Operandi cofounder and chief brand officer Lauren Santo Domingo and chief executive officer Jim Gold. Trays of Aperol spritzes and glasses of rosé swirled about as influencers chatted and swapped fashion week schedules. Attendees were dressed in everything from striped boxer shorts — one of summer’s hottest trends — to flowing red gowns, as was the case with a trio of young women who looked like they were ready for a black-tie affair.  Fresh off her performance at the LuisaViaRoma store opening party, Charlotte Lawrence serenaded the crowd with her musical talents as the night neared close. Celebrities (And Dogs) Front Row at the Rachel Antonoff and Susan Alexandra Spring 2025 Fashion Show

Every so often a dog will pop up in the front row of a fashion show, usually on the lap of a very VIP guest. At Rachel Antonoff and Susan Alexandra’s joint fashion show on Friday afternoon, all guests were encouraged to bring their furry companions along to St. Ann’s Warehouse in Dumbo. And everyone in the audience was also very, very encouraged to adopt one of the dogs walking in the show, which partnered with Animal Haven and Muddy Paws Rescue. “I think my doodle would be so mad if I brought home another dog,” said Busy Philipps before the show, which was “Best of Show” themed. “I’m a huge fan of Rachel Antonoff and I’ve been a friend of hers for many years. I love her clothing. I buy it, I wear it myself, and I love Susan Alexander. My daughter’s obsessed with all of her jewelry,” she added. “I also love dogs.” Guests lined up outside of the theater, while several of the model-rescue dogs lounged on the ground nearby, getting an early taste of the attention that often accompanies fame. VIP guests, dog or human alike, came dressed in Susan Alexandra’s colorful beaded accessories and Rachel Antonoff clothing.

Air Mail and Bloomingdale’s Brings Italian Flair to Fashion Week With Upper East Side Soiree

On Thursday night, Air Mail and Bloomingdale’s teamed up to bring the retailer’s “From Italy, With Love” fall campaign to life on the Upper East Side. The first floor of the Academy Mansion set the scene for a lively evening with Italian touches throughout the sprawling party, which channeled nostalgia through the setting of the 1920s mansion, longtime media personalities and a few film icons. The party was hosted by Graydon Carter and Bloomingdale’s chief executive officer Olivier Bron, along with event cohosts Isabella Rossellini, Christine Baranski and Morgan Spencer. “Do you think there’s a Negroni around here?” A guest was walking alongside Spector, past the gelato cart in the courtyard. It was a fair assumption; there were nods to the Italian theme throughout the party, including a food installation by Laila Gohar (the artist’s second fashion week party of the week), which featured cubes constructed of Italian assortments: olives, tomatoes and mozzarella. Less than an hour into the party, a guest approached and pulled a few olives off. Event matchbooks and golden masquerade masks were set out around the party, to further set the vibe. “I grew up in Rome, and came to America when I was 18. But, you know,

Celebrities Front Row at Ralph Lauren Spring 2025: First Lady Jill Biden, Usher, Jude Law and More

“Color me impressed,” rising actress Diana Silvers said to the gentleman next to her Thursday evening ahead of Ralph Lauren’s spring 2025 show, as she took in the scene around her. After many hours in the car — or a short few in a chopper, if you’re lucky, famous or both — guests were deposited onto a meticulously curated equestrian scene in Bridgehampton, N.Y., where the night began with an outdoor cocktail hour next to a pasture of horses. Adding to the impression was the night’s big VIP: none other than First Lady Jill Biden, who attended with granddaughter Finnegan Biden. Other celebrity guests included Jude Law, Usher, Kacey Musgraves, Naomi Watts, Colman Domingo, Tom Hiddleston, Cole Spouse, Joey King, Laura Dern and daughter Jaya Harper, Demi Singleton, H.E.R., Justin Theroux and Rufus Wainwright. Biden was approached by one celebrity after the next. Hiddleston themed his questions around their surroundings.  “Do you ride horses?” he asked her. “No,” she replied.  It was Jude Law’s first Ralph Lauren show, despite having worn the brand personally for years.  “This kind of a relationship started today. So far so good. It’s the honeymoon period,” Law joked of his relationship with the brand. “I have not been to a show of

Drafting Our New York Fashion Week Fantasy Front Row for the Spring 2025 Shows

Last season gave us viral couple Pookie and Jett, while this season we’ve already spotted Mormon tradwife TikTok power couple Nara and Lucky Blue Smith. They’re sure to be the first of many online phenoms that join in on the fashion fun — but who else? Well, let’s dream a little, shall we, and concoct our fantasy front row. It was Chappell Roan’s summer, and though her tour has prevented her from doing much on the press or public appearance side, we are hoping she gets to sneak away for a show this season. If anyone can wear runway-fresh fits, it’s her. We bet Roan and Stephen Nedoroscik, aka “Pommel Horse Guy,” would love swapping stories of their respective breakout summers. The Olympic gymnast is due to compete on “Dancing With the Stars” this fall — why not warm up at NYFW? We’d seat him next to Snoop Dogg, who made the rounds at the Olympics this summer. We think his commentary would bring some spice to the usual runway reviews.  Fashion week always coincides with the U.S. Open, drawing celebrities out to the stadium in Queens, N.Y. — away from the front rows, yes, but we’ll accept a trade. Coco Gauff is

‘Uglies’ Star Joey King Kicks Off New York Fashion Week With Longchamp

“I’m number two.” Joey King had just gotten her numerology reading, and was relaying what the number represented: harmony. “I like communication, openness, and compromise,” said King, reading the back of the numerology card, which she’d picked up during Longchamp’s fashion week party at Location05 in Hudson Yards. The actress was Longchamp’s number one for the evening, the special guest at an event celebrating the brand’s fall 2024 collection and Le Roseau handbag. “I’ve always been a fan of the brand,” said King, dressed in a full green-and-orange Longchamp look for the occasion. “I’ve had a Longchamp bag since I was 17 or 18 years old. It is my go-to: dress up, dress down; casual, breezy,” she added. “As I’ve gotten older, I feel like they make a lot of pieces that connect with who I’ve grown into.” King is gearing up to release her latest project, a film adaptation of the popular YA book “Uglies” for Netflix. In addition to starring as main character Tally Youngblood, King served as an executive producer. “I read ‘Uglies’ for the first time when I was 11 years old. And I was like, oh my god — I’m so obsessed. I love it so much,” she said. “I took
