Sarah Jessica Parker parted ways with her staple hairstyle on Wednesday night to channel an early 2000s aesthetic that’s highly controversial in the beauty world. The “Sex and the City” star, best known for serving wild curls as Carrie Bradshaw, stepped out for the “And Just Like That…” season three photocall at the Crane Club in New York City, donning a slicked side part and mermaid waves. Parker, who reprises her “Sex and the City” role in the new Max original series, usually goes for a clean middle part, on and off screen. However, the actress switched it up and swept two-thirds of her hair over to the right side of her head. She did, however, keep her trademark coloring: bleach blonde highlights with dark brown undertones. The style was crafted by her longtime glam partner, Serge Normant, whose celebrity client list also includes Demi Moore, Emma Roberts and Nicole Kidman.
