Champion Teaming With HyperX Gaming Company on Capsule

Champion is dipping its toe into the gaming business. The brand is teaming with HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Corp., on a limited-edition capsule collection of T-shirts, hoodies and crewneck sweatshirts. The collaboration, called Rose Gold, is the first between the two companies and is intended to provide gamers with a stylish way to display their passion. The collection features a rose gold color scheme, and a newly designed composite logo that is inspired by both brands. The collection will be available starting on Nov. 1 on the Champion web site. Pricing has not yet been set. “Knowing that HyperX fans and gamers in general crave clothing [that] allows them to express themselves and their passions, we couldn’t be more excited that Champion will be HyperX’s first clothing collaboration,” said Stephanie Winkler, strategic marketing manager for HyperX. “Champion is an authentic American brand with 100 years of relevance in the lifestyle market; the brand’s influence and knack for creating on-trend looks will help style-conscious gamers proudly display their individuality.” Among the pieces that will be offered are a Reverse Weave hoodie and crewneck as well as a cotton T-shirt.
