Mattel Debuts Ken Doll-inspired Fragrance That Channels the ‘Contemporary Masculinity’ of Barbie’s Boyfriend

Barbie’s boyfriend Ken now has a fragrance of his own thanks to Mattel’s latest collaboration with DefineMe Creative Studio. The scent-maker’s latest drop, packaged in a blue bottle and printed with vintage-inspired text, intends to channel the “essence of contemporary masculinity,” according to the brand. “We are thrilled to introduce ‘Ken,’ an inclusive fragrance that celebrates his unwavering confidence and dynamic personality. Crafted by parfumerie Givaudan, the fragrance’s top notes include bergamot, rain accord, violet leaf and warm spiced cardamom. Ken’s heart notes are blue iris, orange flower, rich saffron and hedione, while its base notes contain scents of vetiver, cedarwood, amber and musk.
