Dakota Fanning took this season’s hottest hue for a spin while appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday. The actress, who is promoting her new series “Ripley,” opted for a red satin dress from John Galliano’s fall 1999 collection, courtesy of vintage purveyor Shrimpton Couture. Fanning’s slinky frock featured a paisley pattern and velvet straps. Rouge hues are poised for popularity this year after fiery shades took the runways of Valentino, Carolina Herrera and Emilia Wickstead by storm during the fall 2023 season.
