Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo Evoke Dark Glamour in Vintage Gilbert Adrian and Prada for ‘Wicked: For Good’ London Premiere

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo made their grand joint arrival to the London premiere of “Wicked: For Good” on Monday in looks by Prada and vintage Gilbert Adrian. The two Oscar-nominated actress’ hit high notes in their own interpretations of the dark glamour trend, styling pieces evocative of their film’s theatricality and heightened drama. All over the black fabric of the dress were sequined elements, adding a sparkle to her gown. Adrian is most famous for his work as the costume designer for “The Wizard of Oz,” adding even greater significance and emotional weight to Grande’s London premiere look. An ambassador for Swarovski, Grande wore a statement necklace from the Austrian label. Makeup for Grande was provided by Michael Anthony, with hairstyling by Alyx Liu, who coiffed the singer’s hair in a tight chignon with wisps of hair to frame her face.
