Kerry Washington Revisits Old Hollywood Glamour in Zuhair Murad for ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’ Los Angeles Premiere

Old Hollywood glamour was the aesthetic theme for Kerry Washington’s look at the “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” in Los Angeles on Monday night, wearing a Zuhair Murad gown for the special occasion. Styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, Washington wore a strapless dress from Murad’s fall 2025 couture collection, designed with a sweetheart neckline and ruched fabric in a shade of onyx with a thigh-high slit and shimmering embellishments running down the front of the gown’s bodice. Kerry Washington JC Olivera Crafted in a silky soft fabric, Washington’s gown featured ruching on the fitted bodice, which also incorporated a subtle cutout and fabric draping. The flowing fabric of the gown created a short train that trailed Washington as she walked the arrival carpet. Washington’s pointed-toe pumps coordinated seamlessly with her Zuhair Murad gown, and the actress continued her onyx tonal motif with statement earrings and rings to accessorize her attire. The Emmy-nominated actress’ makeup, featuring bold brows, eyes and a glossy lip, was provided by Carola Gonzalez, with hairstyling by Takisha Sturdivant-Drew.
