Chloë Sevigny and Myth Magazine Celebrate Miguel Androver Film at NYFW
The fashion week circuit can get repetitive — how many times can one go to Cipriani or, more recently, Chez Margaux? So it was fun to head into Village East, the Angelika movie theater in the East Village, which had been taken over Wednesday night by Myth Magazine. After grabbing beer and popcorn, the crowd shuffled into the main theater, where Myth was hosting a screening of Gonzalo Hergueta’s documentary “The Designer Is Dead,” about designer Miguel Adrover. “I started this project five years ago. When I found Miguel and I found this story, I found this story that was almost like a legend. This Spanish guy came into the city and kind of completely disrupted fashion week,” Hergueta said ahead of the screening. “And when I started researching it, it was so difficult to find any information on him. So one day I found a little email and I sent him an email.
