Helena Christensen Merges Sheer Styling With Gothic Sensibility

Helena Christensen took runway inspiration from Roberto Cavalli’s latest collection for her red carpet look at the “Amarga Navidad,” or “Bitter Christmas,” premiere during the 2026 Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday night in Cannes, France. Helena Christensen Michael Buckner Christensen’s dress hailed from the fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection, which featured an array of designs in an exclusively black color palette. Christensen’s gown merged sheer design with a sensual spin on the Gothic inspiration of the collection. The sleeveless dress featured thin straps and a plunging, scalloped neckline. Sheer fabric featured at the waist and skirt of the design, with patchwork adding an extra dose of edgy quality to the overall look.
