Carey Mulligan Becomes the Latest Star to Bring Spring Runway Style to the Fall Red Carpet

Carey Mulligan joined the recent red carpet trend of celebrities eschewing fall fashion in favor of spring runway style with her Celine look at Sunday’s “Wildwood” premiere held at BFI Southbank during the London Film Festival. Silver metallics gave the ensemble an icy effect. Mulligan’s look consisted of a silver metallic pleated tunic with a bateau neckline, long sleeves and an asymmetrical hemline, paired with a matching column skirt featuring the same pleated motif and a liquid-like puddle effect that pooled at the hem and extended into a small train.
