Adidas to Launch Sport Headphones With Zound

Adidas and Stockholm-based headphones producer Zound today unveiled two wireless headphones, the FWD-01 and RPT-01, launching on Sept. 25. The headphones boast a human-centered design co-created by athletes and built for athletes at all levels and disciplines. The FWD-01 is in-ear headphones for runners with up to 16 hours of playtime, auto-pause capability, and interchangeable ear tips and wings, while the RPT-01 headphones for training is an over-ear style with up to 40 hours of playtime, removable and washable knitted ear cushions and inner headband, and can create custom shortcuts with the action button. Both styles are IPX4-rated, sweatproof and have USB-C charging. “Our starting point for Adidas Sport headphones was the desire to match the unrivaled experience that Adidas loyalists expect from their footwear and apparel,” said Zound Industries designer Ella Rennéus.  “For every Adidas product, empowering athletes to create in any field of play is paramount.
