Kristen Stewart Gives Fall’s Burgundy Trend a Lacy Spin in Rhea Costa for ‘The Chronology of Water’ AFI Fest Premiere
Kristen Stewart employed the fall 2025 burgundy trend in a lacy Rhea Costa number for “The Chronology of Water” screening at AFI Fest in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The Oscar-nominated “Spencer” actress and newly minted filmmaker wore a piece from the designer’s fall collection. Styled by Tara Swennen, Stewart’s lacy midi dress was designed with allover botanical inspiration, drenched in a shade of burgundy akin to the autumn season and trending seasonal color. Beneath the midi frock, Costa’s design included lacy leggings to further accentuate the look and provide a touch of illusion and intrigue to Stewart’s attire. Keeping her dress the centerpiece of her look, Stewart eschewed bold accessories in favor of a minimalist approach, sans jewelry. The actress and Chanel ambassador wore a pair of pointed-toe black pumps with her look. As for her glam, her hair was tussled into a messy bun with fringe and wisps of hair to frame her face.
