Elon Musk has reignited his long-running feud and rivalry with Amazon founder and executive chairman Jeff Bezos, this time slamming Amazon’s billion-dollar fantasy series The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power - a series which scored 25 million viewers for the first two episodes, Prime Video’s top premiere ever.

"[J. R. R.] Tolkien is turning in his grave," the Tesla founder tweeted. "Almost every male character so far is a coward, a jerk or both. Only Galadriel is brave, smart and nice," read another tweet. Galadriel, played by Morfydd Clark, is a warrior elf and the lead of the series that is set thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, Musk has a longstanding rivalry with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, a rivalry that has intensified as Musk’s SpaceX and Bezos’ Blue Origin compete directly. The enmity between the world’s two richest people has seen the Tesla CEO habitually troll or shitpost against Bezos and his companies.

The author dismissed Musk's opinion, tweeting, "Elon Musk doesn't come to me for advice on how to fail to buy Twitter, and I don't go to him for film, TV or literature criticism." However, in response to another message about the topic, Musk tweeted on Tuesday, "Those who claim any criticism of Rings of Power means you're racist are outing themselves as closet racists."

Elon Musk’s tweet drew backlash from many Twitter users, including The Sandman author Neil Gaiman. He replied, “Elon Musk doesn’t come to me for advice on how to fail to buy Twitter, and I don’t go to him for film, TV or literature criticism.”

Having announced the legendary Bollywood singer-composer Shankar Mahadevan and ace music composer Anu Malik as the judges of the upcoming season, the latest to join the panel is popular singer Neeti Mohan. While Neeti has been a judge on a couple of shows, this will be her first reality show on Zee TV. Not just that, this will be the first time Neeti will be seen on a show post her pregnancy.

On joining the judges’ panel, Neeti Mohan said, "I am very excited to meet the super talented Li'l Champs from all over the country, as they are known to floor everyone with their singing prowess at such a tender age. I love kids a lot, I want to encourage every child to unlock their hidden potential. SRGMP Lil champs will provide the children an experience of a lifetime. I am also very excited to share the judging panel with Shankar Ji and Anu Ji because I am sure while it will be fun, I will get to learn a lot from them."

Actress Amyra Dastur is gearing up for her upcoming film titled Jogi, which will stream on Netflix from September 16. Ahead of the releases, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor candidly shared her piece of mind on creating her persona through social media platforms, especially Instagram.

In her response, the Made in China actress says, “I genuinely believe you should not overexpose yourself as an actor. I see a lot of stars doing it now and I see that working against them in certain ways because a lot of people are like they are bored of seeing this person and I think that's what I'm scared of. I don't want anybody to turn around and say yeah now we're bored of seeing her please choose someone else. You have to be very careful of how much you expose and how much you kind of like to reel it in”.

Explaining further, she added, “for me, if I wanted to create thirst straps for people, I could easily post my photos in a bikini. But for me I don't see that it's substantial. I don't see that as something I see myself doing. I want to give people quality even from my Instagram. We spend days and weeks planning; I literally sit with my stylist I sit with the photographer I sit with the hair (stylist) the makeup person and we actually plan everything out; so, it comes off as classy and nice and that's what I want to incorporate in everything I do”.

Concluding the conversation, the 29-year-old actress asserted, “I would rather be somebody who's known for a little amount of work but good work then somebody who is known for - arey arey woh itney pictures release kar rahi hai har saal (she is giving back-to-back releases irrespective of the quality of the projects.)

Saiyami Kher is known for carefully picking her roles and making some of the most versatile choices. In the latest, Saiyami is teaming up with Gulshan Devaiah for her next, which is an untitled drama genre film. The project is being peroxided by Anurag Kashyap and currently, it's being shot in Hyderabad. This won’t be the first time that both actors will team up. Earlier, the duo had worked together before in the anthology Unpaused Season 1, produced by Amazon Prime.

Speaking on her reunion with her co-actor, Saiyami says, “It is an interesting project and something that will stay with people for a long time. Gulshan is an amazing actor, extremely creative, extremely versatile. We worked together for Unpaused Season 1, and there is a comfort level working with him. Unfortunately, I can’t reveal much about it but I can promise you that the wait will be worth it.”

Saiyami is looking forward to a busy 2022 with a list of movie projects lined up. She is teaming with Scam 1992 fame Pratik Gandhi, for Rahul Dholakia's Agni, an Excel Entertainment production. The film is based on firefighters. While not many of the details of the project are known, the shooting has already started this month and most of the shooting will be happening in Mumbai and Delhi.

Apart from that, she will soon be seen in Breathe Into the Shadows Season 3 and Ghoomer, both opposite Abhishek Bachchan. Ghoomer, which will be directed by R Balki, is a story of a coach and his prodigy.

Soon after the announcement of the team working on Aashiqui 3, some rumours started brewing around the casting of this much anticipated third instalment of the Aashiqui franchise! The spokesperson of T-Series released an official statement that puts all speculations and rumours at rest, here's what they had to say.

Rumours were rife that popular television actress Jennifer Winget was starring opposite Kartik Aaryan. Now, the makers have debunked the speculations. "There is no truth to any rumours pertaining to the female lead opposite Kartik Aaryan in Aashiqui 3. The search for the perfect fit for the movie is still ongoing. We are currently in a very early stage where we are still coming up with ideas for the movie. Much like the audience, we are eagerly awaiting to finalise the female lead of the film and would love to share it with the fans as early as possible," the statement said.

The partnership formed in 1990 with Aashiqui, T-Series and Vishesh Films continue their 32 years of association by announcing Aashiqui 3. Producer Mukesh Bhatt and Producer Bhushan Kumar team together once again for the much expected third instalment with director Anurag Basu, music composed by Pritam and starring man of the moment Kartik Aaryan in the lead.

Brahmastra is only two days away from the release and the anticipation is through the roof. Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, director Ayan Mukerji and the producers have left no stone unturned to promote the film. While there has been some boycott calls for the film, the advance bookings are showing a positive trend. Amidst this, the lead actors and the director stepped out on Tuesday to visit Mahakal temple in Ujjain but were stopped by Bajrang Dal members. Videos of the police charging the protesters went viral on social media.

Ujjain CSP Om Prakash Mishra told ANI that the protesters had begun to fight with police officers. "We were making arrangements as some VIPs were about to visit Mahakaleshwar temple. During which some people started gathering here to protest against them. One of the protestors started fighting with police officers," Mishra said. Police said action has been taken against the protests under section 353 (Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) of the Indian Penal Code.

In a video, a Bajrang Dal member said that they won't let them enter the temple.  “We are protesting against Ranbir Kapoor and won't let him enter the Mahakal temple. He made derogatory statements against our gaumata. He had said eating beef is good,” he said.

The statement in question was by Ranbir Kapoor made in 2011 during Rockstar promotions. An old video resurfaced during the promotions of Brahmastra in which Kapoor said that he loved eating beef. “My family is from Peshawar, so a lot of Peshawari food has come with them. I am a mutton, paya, and beef fan. Yeah, I am a big beef fan," he said.
