Jessica McClintock Returns to Bridal With Clarisse
Jessica McClintock is tapping into her design roots with a new bridal collection through a licensed partnership with special-occasion design house Clarisse. McClintock, who spent 43 years designing prom and bridalwear under a namesake moniker, has since 2013 ceased in-house production to focus on managing licensing programs for her brand through various categories — which include evening bags, fragrance, jewelry, fashion accessories and home decor. The Jessica McClintock by Clarisse collection marks the first licensed bridal collaboration for the brand after two years of customer demand through the brand’s web site and social media. The bridal collection translates those codes into body-sculpting silhouettes with lace, satin, silk and tulle. Retail price points range from $550 to $1,200, with available sizing from 4 to 24.
