Sotheby’s to Auction Mary Tyler Moore’s Jewelry Collection in December

Sotheby’s has announced it will auction jewelry from Mary Tyler Moore’s collection as part of its Magnificent Jewels and Fine Jewels auctions in New York City this December. Proceeds from the 21 pieces will benefit the Mary Tyler Moore Vision Initiative, a nonprofit organization that seeks to preserve and restore vision in people with diabetes. The Magnificent Jewels auction will take place on Dec. 5, and the Fine Jewels auction will be open for bidding from Nov. 28 to Dec. 7.
