EXCLUSIVE: Paige Lorenze’s Dairy Boy Introduces the Brand’s First Sport Collection
Paige Lorenze‘s brand Dairy Boy is going sporty. The women’s apparel brand is adding activewear to its curation of casual styles, coinciding with a pop-up for the new DB Sport collection during the Miami Open tennis tournament. The collection launches on the brand’s official website beginning April 2. “The key inspiration really comes from my childhood and a lifetime of being active,” Lorenze told WWD via email. “I’ve always been drawn to those in between moments around sport and how sport impacts how you move, dress and feel.” DB Sport collection Courtesy of Dairy Boy The DB Sport collection prioritizes “fabrics that are soft, supportive and move with you.” Among other inspirations behind the collection, Lorenze looked to tennis as a “major influence.” The Dairy Boy founder is engaged to American tennis player Tommy Paul. Lorenze’s favorite piece from the Sport collection, the Dairy Boy capris, exemplify the intentional craft behind the collection. “They look simple, but every detail was incredibly considered, from the fit to the fabric to the branding. It took a lot of refinement to get them to feel exactly right, but now they’re one of those pieces that just works. They feel polished, flattering, and effortless,” Lorenze said.
