Princess Charlene of Monaco Channels Celestial Inspiration in Elie Saab
Princess Charlene of Monaco channeled a bit of method dressing with her Elie Saab gown on Saturday night at the 2026 Rose Ball, where she joined other members of Monaco’s royal family, among other special guests. For the black tie event, Princess Charlene wore a celestial gown courtesy of the Lebanese designer’s eponymous label. The gown featured a gray base tone, with a fitted bodice and some fabric ruching that collected at one hip for a slight asymmetrical material effect. Asymmetry continued through the look, featuring a one-shoulder cape effect that added depth and contrast to Princess Charlene’s overall attire. Over the bodice and shoulder of the cape, Princess Charlene’s gown was embellished with shimmering silver crystals and sequins. The gown created an overall celestial effect, a method dressing choice that nodded to the galaxy-themed 2026 Rose Ball. As for finishing touches, Princess Charlene wore a pair metallic silver heels and a set of diamond floral statement earrings.
