Teyana Taylor Channels Ottolinger’s ‘Subversive Sensuality’

Teyana Taylor turned to Ottolinger for her sensual dark dress at Essence’s Women in Music Luncheon on Sunday in New Orleans. The form-fitting dress was crafted with structure and sensuality in mind, with a sinuous plunging neckline, short sleeves with slight fabric ruching and detailed patterning. Dark tones of olive green, black, dusted gold and more created the color palette for the look, and patterned motifs like eyes and skulls gave the dress a hypnotic quality. As for accessories, Taylor added a statement gold ring courtesy of Schiaparelli. Curated by Berlin-based co-creative directors Bösch and Gadient, the collection catered to reinvention.
