Women’s Wear Daily to Expand WWD Honors
Women’s Wear Daily, the leading source of news and insights for the fashion, retail and beauty industries, will this year expand its annual flagship industry awards program: the WWD Honors. The awards ceremony, which will be the culmination of the first day of WWD’s Apparel + Retail CEO Summit on Oct. 29, brings together more than 300 c-level executives. The event will be held at the InterContinental New York Barclay at 111 East 48th Street. The new awards being introduced this year include: Women’s Wear Designer of the Year Men’s Wear Designer of the Year Emerging Talent of the Year Newsmaker of the Year Beauty Brand of the Year WWD will continue to recognize honors for Company of the Year; Corporate Citizenship; the Edward Nardoza Honor for CEO Creative Leadership, and the John B. Fairchild Honor, which has been awarded to Ralph Lauren, Leonard Lauder and the late Karl Lagerfeld.
