Alexander Wang Signs Eyewear License Contract With Dita
Alexander Wang has signed a long-term licensing deal with luxury eyewear firm Dita for the distribution of sunglasses and optical glasses. Product will launch for fall 2020, with collections falling under Wang’s personal creative direction. Dita will distribute the line in global department stores, specialty shops and optical boutiques, as well as in Dita stores and Alexander Wang shops. “Attention to detail, quality and design is what Dita prides itself on. Alexander Wang is a pillar in the fashion industry and to be able to partner with a like-minded visionary is a complete honor for us,” said Dita chief executive officer Micky Dhillon. “This partnership with Dita comes at an exciting time for the business, as eyewear is synonymous with lifestyle and this license will allow us to scale our presence in the retail market. Dita is an industry leader in its field, especially noted for their technical innovation, design expertise and product development, so we are very excited to announce this partnership with them,” added Wang.
