Jeans were born in the American West in the 1870s. That era also saw the immense popularity of tintype photography, the kinds of photos mimicked here in actual tintype. Now both jeans and tintype are seeing a resurgence, with jeans hot again after years of being left behind by leggings and other activewear. It goes to show: True classics never fade.
