L’Occitane-Owned Elemis Shakes Up Management, Gears for Growth

LONDON — British premium skin care and wellness brand Elemisis in expansion mode, with its founder-managers moving into new territories and roles following the sale of the company earlier this year to L’Occitane Group. Founders Séan Harrington, Noella Gabriel and Oriele Frank are all making changes, with Harrington, the chief executive officer, relocating to Asia to open the first Elemis Hong Kong office. Harrington’s aim is to build a “substantial brand presence across the APAC market, and put in place the strong structure and resource needed to deliver this opportunity,” the company said. Gabriel is now based out of the New York headquarters, and will take up the role of president, driving the “aggressive expansion” of the brand’s U.S. business. Frank, who is based in the U.K., has been promoted to managing director and will oversee business in the home market. “This next period will strengthen the continued growth and momentum behind our brand and products,” Harrington said. “Together as a team, a brand and a family, we have incredible opportunity for success and we are more ready for it than ever.” Elemis, which was launched in 1989, operates in more than 90 markets, with headquarters in London and New York.
