Soho House Names Chief Commercial Officer
LONDON — Soho House has tapped Andrew Carnie to be its new chief commercial officer. Carnie joins from Anthropologie, where he served as executive director; president of home, garden and international, and most recently group president. At Anthropologie, Carnie doubled the company’s home business sales, spearheaded its digital strategy and was also behind the new experiential retail concept the company introduced in Philadelphia that brought together Anthropologie products with a number of food, wellness and interior design services. In his new role, Carnie will focus on further developing the Soho House app and overseeing the growth of the group’s homeware division Soho Home, as well as its coworking spaces Soho Works. “Andrew has a proven track record of growing businesses by being focused on their most important element, the customer. As a result, whether he has been looking at retail, digital, experiential or food and beverage, he has always been a success. Being customer and member obsessed is our ethos too, so the match was a natural one. He will be a key component in helping Soho House move into its next stage of growth,” said Nick Jones, Soho House’s chief executive officer.
